I’ve got a blog!
Woof; or indeed wooooooooof, as I say when I’ve found someone!
Hello and welcome to my new blog.
Who am I? Well, take a look at the title …
I’m Brock. I’m a qualified Lowland Search Dog who is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to go out and search for vulnerable missing persons.
What are vulnerable missing persons? I’ve no idea: I’ll go find anyone because it’s all a game to me. I find someone and I get to play with my favourite toy! It’s something to do with people who are at risk of harm in the everyday environment or because of their mental health; whatever that means?
I’ve searched for people who are suicidal, people who have dementia, children and lots more. Apparently I’ve saved a few lives, and brought closure to a few families too. All while trying to earn a treat! Cool, eh?
I’ve talked to school children about not getting lost and I’ve even been on television but now Lou says I have to write a blog thingy too…
So keep popping in to see what I’ve been up to, or subscribe using the RSS
